Internal Audit Manager

Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:

  • Assess and propose to the Head of Internal Audit, APAC, the auditable unit’s coverage, strategic priorities and emerging risks for consideration in the development, and any subsequent changes, of the audit plan. 

  • Lead end-to-end execution of audits including planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up on remediating actions.

  • Support the Head of Internal Audit, APAC in the monitoring and adjusting of the audit plans based on evolving risk landscapes.

  • Ensure Internal Audit’ s compliance with local regulatory requirements.

  • Deliver meaningful risk and controls insights to the Singapore Committee and APAC governance bodies, when required.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of risk awareness.

  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and constructively.

  • Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.

  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’ s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare or insurance internal or external audit, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

  • Professional Certifications such as CPA or CIA (in progress acceptable).

  • Understanding of Singapore regulatory requirements

Preferred:

  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ACL, Tableau, and PowerBI.
