Job Overview
The Internal Audit Intern will support the Internal Audit team with various tasks and projects. Assignments will be designed to provide meaningful learning experiences while contributing to the department's objectives.
This is a part-time role, requiring a commitment of 12-16 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to extend to a full time internship schedule during the summer.
Key Responsibilities
Executes quarterly sales cutoff procedures for proper accounting treatment, including ensuring that equipment revenue is recorded in the correct period and properly supported by underlying documentation.
Assists with various substantive procedures to support external auditor’s year-end audit.
Assists with executing financial and SOX compliance audit projects, including documenting and discussing audit results with audit managers.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Preferred Education:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or other related field.

Travel typically less than 10%

Compensation:
The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.
Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.
Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.
Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
