We’re looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment.
What You’ll Experience
As an Internal Audit Intern at FHLBank, you’ll:
Assist the Internal Audit department with controls testing and audit procedures
Support the testing of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) key controls
Contribute to the completion of Financial and IT audit work
Provide assistance on various Internal Audit projects
Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively
Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study
Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry
Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!)
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking students who:
Have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
Are majoring in Accounting and/or Finance
Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
Work well independently and in team settings
Are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to solve problems
Program Highlights
10-week paid internship: Monday, June 1st to Friday, August 7th
Flexible hybrid workforce model: Onsite three days a week and two days remote.
