Are you an Environmental Science graduate student looking to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial impact? Imerys is seeking a motivated intern to play a pivotal role in our product sustainability program. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience conducting "Cradle-to-Gate" Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for a global leader in mineral-based solutions.
As our Product Sustainability Intern, you won't just be crunching numbers; you’ll be mapping the environmental footprint of our products from extraction to the factory gate. You will lead the technical LCA process while facilitating workshops that align our sustainability efforts with global market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Architecture: Design LCA questionnaires and collaborate with site managers to gather high-fidelity, site-specific data.
Modeling & Analysis: Build and manage product flows using Holis software, calculate environmental impacts, and integrate results into our Group-wide systems.
Strategic Reporting: Develop LCA "cards" and Ecoprofiles for diverse product families.
Workshop Leadership: Organize and support market alignment workshops to identify sustainable solutions for products-in-application.
Advocacy: Create internal educational materials to communicate the business value and environmental necessity of LCAs to stakeholders.
