GBR LNDN 25 Walbrook FL5&6 Full time

As the world works and lives faster, FIS is leading the way. Our fintech solutions power the economy and touch nearly every market, company, and person on the planet. At FIS, we are passionate about advancing how the world pays, banks, and invests—and we do it as an inclusive and diverse global team. Our colleagues collaborate, innovate, and celebrate together.

If you want to build a career supporting the future of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?

About the role:

As a Summer Intern in Business Development, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting the teams responsible for generating new business pipeline and driving outbound prospecting activity. You’ll work alongside Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Operations partners to learn how we build early‑stage opportunities, identify strategic prospects, and support sales cycles across global markets.

You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, take part in lead‑generation efforts, learn how modern sales platforms support commercial strategy, and complete a capstone presentation to business development and sales leaders.

About the team:

You will join the FIS Business Development organization, a fast‑paced, highly collaborative group that plays a critical role in fueling FIS’ sales pipeline.

The BDR team partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations to execute persona‑led campaigns, drive outbound contact strategies, and collect actionable insights for our sellers.

The team leverages modern prospecting tools, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and CRM systems, and is committed to developing the next generation of sales talent.

What you will be doing:
• Supporting outreach campaigns through account research, data collection, and persona‑based targeting.
• Shadowing Business Development Representatives to observe outbound strategies, prospecting cadences, and lead hand‑off processes.
• Assisting in building pre‑qualified leads and early‑stage opportunities that support FIS’ sales objectives.
• Learning to use modern sales technology platforms such as Sales Navigator, Outreach, and CRM tools.
• Collaborating with global sales, marketing, and product stakeholders.
• Completing a final internship project and presenting insights to the Business Development and Sales Operations leadership teams.

What you will need:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong willingness to learn and enthusiasm for technology and sales.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in sales, marketing, project management, or fintech.
• College graduation expected between December 2026 – May 2027

Added bonus if you have:

• Prior exposure to sales tools or CRM systems.
• Interest in AI, data-enabled sales processes, or sales enablement platforms.

What we offer you:
• A flexible, creative, and supportive work environment.
• A diverse and collaborative culture with global exposure.
• Access to professional development resources and mentorship.
• Competitive salary.
• The opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and present your work to senior stakeholders.
