Job Responsibilities
Assist in defining testable user stories by helping draft basic test cases and acceptance criteria.
Review automated test cases with guidance to understand how they support a continuous deployment process.
Help monitor software logs, metrics, and performance data to identify potential issues or improvement opportunities.
Support the triage, validation, and tracking of bugs or issues reported to the team.
Participate in “after action” reviews to learn how the team improves QA practices.
Assist in verifying that products meet UX design standards and accessibility guidelines.
Observe and document opportunities to improve automated testing efficiency.
Conduct manual and exploratory testing to validate software functionality and support automated test coverage.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
No prior professional experience required.
Familiarity with NBS products or exposure to software testing concepts is a plus.
Competencies – Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to learn how to read and understand basic programming concepts.
Interest in learning database querying skills (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
Ability to understand how business requirements relate to technical solutions.
