The Krakow Camera Firmware team is looking for a QA Intern to join the team and assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of our camera firmware products. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, working directly on products that reach millions of users. Key Responsibilities:
As an Intern QA Engineer, you will work closely with firmware developers, QA engineers, and product managers. Your main responsibilities will include:
Manual Testing: Executing test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing on new firmware features and bug fixes across various camera models.
Test Case Development: Assisting in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and test procedures.
Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and working with developers to verify fixes.
Automation Support: Supporting the team in writing and executing automated test scripts and analyzing the results.
Process Improvement: Contributing ideas to improve the team's QA processes and overall product quality.
Strong foundational understanding of software development and quality assurance principles
Programming skills in Python
Good verbal and written communication skills
English language skills at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Availability 32 hours per week (minimum) or full time. We can start a job between 7-10 a.m. We do not work on weekends!
At least one year cooperation (Contract of Employment only)
Availability to work in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82) - 2 days a week.
Nice To Have
Prior experience with manual or automated software testing
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
Knowledge of testing frameworks (preferably Pytest, Playwright)
Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git)
Knowledge of video technology or embedded systems
