Quality Lab Internship - Summer 2026
Build Your Lab Skills and Learn Quality Testing

Join Van Drunen Farms for a Quality internship in our lab where you will work on projects that compare testing methods and improve accuracy. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in microbiology and data analysis.

What You Will Do:

• Perform routine microbiology techniques such as plating and colony counting
• Compare particle size testing methods and evaluate accuracy
• Test Petri film plates against traditional agar methods for reliability

What You Will Gain:

• Practical lab experience with real samples
• Skills in data recording and interpretation
• A clear understanding of quality control in food testing

What We Are Looking For:

• A Sophomore or Junior majoring in Biology, Microbiology or Food Science
• Knowledge of basic lab techniques
• Ability to follow instructions and work carefully
• Interest in microbiology and food science

Expected Pay Range: $21.50 - $23.00
