ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 8 to August 14, 2026
Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week
Pay: $25 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
The law clerk will provide valuable support to attorneys specializing in diverse areas such as Corporate Law, Litigation, Labor & Employment, Advertising Sales, Marketing, Entertainment, and Content Distribution, among others. Their responsibilities will encompass:
• Assist attorneys with analyzing and researching legal sources, preparing legal documents such as briefs, memoranda, and other documents.
• Draft and revise contracts, amendments, summaries, and deal memos, including talent agreements, licenses, releases, NDAs, and an array of sales and production related documents.
• Support ongoing scripted and unscripted development and production projects, digital, sales, marketing, and music projects.
• Meet with internal business partners to discuss potential legal risks or details needed for contract negotiations and/or projects.
• Prepare executive level presentations for the Co-General Counsels.
• Work closely with Legal team members on special projects, as assigned.
• Translate business requirements into system requirements for key technology platforms used within the Legal department and perform other duties as needed.
YOU HAVE:
• Actively pursuing a law degree at an ABA accredited U.S. law school.
• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in entertainment, media, intellectual property, or corporate law.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eDocs, SharePoint, Outlook, Workshare Compare, Westlaw, and Lexis.
• Legal research proficiency.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
• Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
