Responsibilities

• Prepare material graphic sample and carry out microstructure evaluation.
• Perform Materials testing / Reliability evaluation & Failure analysis & prevention with analytical tools such as optical microscope, SEM-EDX, XRF, Microhardness etc.
• Assist lab engineer to streamline the lab process.
• Assist in updating the Laboratory standard operation procedure and reference/specification currency.
• Participate in Quality/EHS Audit and assist in corrective action implementation. Support the setup of new production capabilities for GTF and EBPVD coating programs by utilizing Lean methodologies and VSM to manage laboratory resource requirements
• Contribute to the integration of AI-driven machine learning for automated microscopy image processing to enhance the reliability and speed of microstructure interpretation.
• Drive laboratory digitalization by enhancing SPS dashboards and reporting systems to improve data visibility, process control, and operational governance.
• Lead a focused study on laboratory layout and process flow to identify efficiency improvements that directly optimize cycle time and throughput.

Requirements  

• Undergraduate in Aerospace / Mechanical engineering or related engineering fields.  

• Proficient in MS Office.  

• Data Analytics skills in using various software is a plus. 

• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedure (SOP). 

• Keen interest in understanding the Aerospace MRO industry.

• Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawing and understanding of technical data.
