We’re hiring an Intern: Inside Sales at our rental facility in Cartersville, GA and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

An Intern: Inside Sales works closely with Rental Coordinators, operations teams, and sales team to help facilitate orders. This position would coordinate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise with equipment for a customer. They will help manage inventory and fleet availability based on customer demand. 

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Support & Coordination:

  • Work closely with rental coordinators and operations teams to ensure timely delivery, pickup, and servicing of rental equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in managing inventory and fleet availability to match customer demand.
  • Utilize EquipmentShare’s technology and CRM tools to track sales activity, customer interactions, and rental transactions.

Inside Sales:

  • Confirm and follow up on scheduled meetings.
  • Research and source lead for prospective customers.
  • Create quotes for customers
  • Call/email prospective customers and schedule meetings for Territory Account Managers (TAM).
  • Confirm and follow up on scheduled meetings.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Must have the drive, initiative and assertiveness to reach out to prospective customers. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and complete tasks based on prioritization 
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, or with a team, and exercise sound judgment.

Education and Experience

  • Must be actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer and phone
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work, typing, and phone handling
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional walking within office or yard to interact with team members or equipment
