We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

  • Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland

Your Team

The Global Merchandising function at On is responsible for overseeing the management of the brand's product assortment across all markets and channels.

At On, the Global Merchandising function is dedicated to managing the brand's product assortment across all markets and channels. Our core mission is to ensure the optimal product is available at the right place, for the right price, during the right period, and with the right performance. We achieve this by collaborating closely with Product Strategy, Regional Merchandising, and Marketing to develop compelling, market-relevant apparel and accessories collections that bolster our global growth and brand identity.

Your Mission

  • Collection Overview Creation: Support the creation of clear and concise collection overviews (e.g., seasonal product presentations, line sheets) to effectively communicate the apparel assortment to regional stakeholders.
  • Wholesale Analytics Support: Assist in the collection, organization, and initial analysis of wholesale data (e.g. Sell-in reports)
  • DTC Sell-Out Data Analysis: Compile, analyze, and report on retail sell-out data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Assortment Recommendation Support: Provide support in the development of data-informed assortment recommendations, including actively maintaining the Assortment Planning tools.
  • Market & Competitor Benchmarking: Support research efforts on competitor strategies, analyze their product offerings, and assist in benchmarking their assortments and pricing.

Your Story

  • Background or strong interest in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field with a strong business acumen and analytical interest.
  • Passionate about the On brand, sports, and the retail environment, with a keen interest in understanding merchandising through data.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), or Google Tools with a strong comfort level in data analysis.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
