In Asia Pacific, ING offers wholesale banking across 11 markets, namely Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

What would you be doing?
This role will join the APAC research team which is composed of economists covering regional economies and a commodities strategist. Your day-to-day tasks will include helping the APAC research team by assisting them with data management, publication of reports, market update calls, as well as helping with regular client, internal, and media requests. You will also help with in-depth thematic research projects.
What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:
You should have legal work rights in Hong Kong.
You will be self-motivated and interested in the world of economics and markets in which the team works.
You are innovative and proactive and willing to engage with colleagues and bring new ideas to the table.
Prior knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg and CEIC is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, Chinese proficiency is a major advantage.
