Intern - Fraud Campaigns Analyst

Role Summary

Specializes in applying knowledge of experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, probability theory, and machine learning, using code for tool building, statistical analysis and modeling, using both general purpose software and statistical languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analysis of spam and fraud texts and campaigns (SMS/MMS/e-mail) 
• Semantic analysis of texts in foreign languages using own language knowledge or machine translations
• Exploration of social and business environment in monitored culture/country
• Monitoring of commercial messages to ensure it is using agreed delivery channels
• Communicate the suspicious cases with customers (worldwide mobile operators) and other involved parties
• Create business and security reports of fraudulent and suspicious events
• Cooperation with data analysts on advance technical analyses

Job Requirements

• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new things
• Concentration, patience and error resistance
• Time flexibility
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English 
• Other foreign language is a plus
• Practical experience with MS Windows
• Practical experience with Excel, Tableau or similar reporting toolset is an advantage
• Basic Database query skills in SQL is an advantage
