About the Position
As part of the global Multiphysics Simulation (GLOMUS) team, this internship focuses on benchmarking a finite-element method (FEM)-based simulation tool to calculate the short-circuit impedance of distribution transformers.
How you'll make an impact
- Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory
- Basic knowledge of transformer design and operation
- Familiarity with finite-element method simulations, preferably using Ansys Maxwell
- Basic proficiency in Python
- Understanding of databases
Your background
- currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team enviroment
- Good communication skills in English and German
