Intern, Financial Reporting and Controls

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Excited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role:

  • Prepare financial and non-financial reports on a weekly and period basis.

  • Assist in preparation of the annual business plan, including uploading to PDI and Longview.

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly analysis for corporate.

  • Assist in producing financial analyses as need by Directors of Operations and Dir. Business Planning.

  • Weekly gas reporting on volume and margin, working with Laval fuel accounting.

  • Prepare internal and external capital reports, for Statistics Canada, and corporate accounting.

  • Participation in several special projects as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Education:

  • Field of education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA program in progress or completed.

  • Level of education: Completion of four or more semesters of the Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word)

  • Ability to familiarize quicky with new tools

  • Basic knowledge of accounting concepts

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Team spirit and good humor

  • Autonomy, thoroughness and ability to manage priorities
