Preferred School/Course of Intern: Degree in qualified Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Pharmaceutical/ Industrial / Facility Management related subject)

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in Project Management to gain hands-on experience in in managing both projects and facility operations within our organization. The intern will work closely with the Project Management and Facility Management teams, contributing to the successful planning, execution, and maintenance of various projects and facilities. This internship will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle management and facility operations, preparing them for careers in these dynamic fields. This opportunity will help to develop an individual in the areas of operation & maintenance, installation & commissioning of equipment and systems, cGMP Compliance, Statutory Compliance, sustainability related monitoring and projects etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be required to:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation, including timelines, status reports, meeting minutes, and other related materials.
  • Support the identification and analysis of project risks and help in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the assignment of tasks and responsibilities to project team members, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare regular reports on project status and outcomes for review by senior management.
  • Participate in assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards both in quality and safety.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability and energy efficiency programs within the facility.
  • Support in maintaining necessary documentation related to cGMP Compliance and Statutory Compliance.
  • Assist in ensuring that the facility complies with relevant regulations and standards.

HALEON IDEAL FIT:

Project Management Skills and Competencies

  • Educational background – Degree in qualified Engineering / Industrial / Facility Management related subject
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, is advantageous.

Behavioural Skills and Competencies

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.
  • Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, and problem-solve
  • Strong drive for performance and attention to details
  • A keen interest in consumer healthcare science, product and development, and a passion for knowledge
