Position summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern with a background in Electrical Engineering to join our product development team focused on generator set (genset) systems.

In this role, you will assist in the definition, documentation, and management of system and component level requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Domain of working- Application Engineering related electrical engineering solution for major Data Center Projects, Drups, and Non-Data Center Gas and Diesel projects.
  • Collaborate with the regional application team on application engineering work
  • Work closely with the regional team to define the technical scope.
  • Provide the technical specifications and define the scope of supply for the equipment with team guidance.
  • Work with suppliers to quote for the equipment and obtain proposals timely.
  • Define the electrical systems requirements for the walk in genset enclosures suitable for the project needs.
  • Prepares documents for the customer’s technical requirements with team guidance.

Who we’re looking for: 

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mechanical engineering.
  • Understanding of automation system, electrical system, protection system of a diesel generator set and demonstrate the ability to integrate the understanding into designing a genset enclosure.
  • Knowledge of engineering calculation for genset electrical systems, for e.g., load & short circuit sizing, electrical panels, BUSDUCTS, battery, etc.
  • Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
