The candidate will gain first-hand experience of the asset management industry by joining fast paced distribution function. He/She will be working with a dynamic group of experienced professionals and will get an insight into what it is like working for one of the largest asset management houses in Asia.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist marketing and sales support in management of marketing collaterals
  • Assist in the research and collation of new sales opportunities across different markets
  • Assist sales support in providing fund update materials to key distributors
  • Undertake a sales/marketing project end-to-end and present findings to department heads at the end of internship

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • The candidate should be a self-starter who has the ability to use his/her own initiative. A creative person who can cultivate original ideas and drive them through to practical application is essential. 
  • This is a role that requires the individual to provide support on a broad range of activities across multiple jurisdictions and it is therefore very important for the candidate to be organised and methodical in the approach to tasks.
  • The candidate should be highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects within strict deadlines. 
  • A basic understanding of financial products and fund structures (Funds, share classes, feeder funds etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly team orientated
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to complete tasks within required deadlines
  • Work to and share best practice
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
  • Can do attitude
