Duration: 6 months
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

The following tasks from 3 subject areas belong to your field of activity. What you will do exactly during your internship depends on the projects currently running in the department, but also on your main skills and interests.
Integration coordination:
Carrying out concept and integration studies for new developments helicopter programmes.
Organisation of digital mock-up meetings to avoid incompatibilities.
Digital Mock-Up (DMU) Management:
Preparation of DMU environments as a basis for subsequent integration studies, documents and reviews.
Ensuring 3D data quality in cooperation with relevant departments and external.
Aircraft Physical Mock-Up (APMU) Management:
Support APMU manager in defining and adapting the needs, scope and design of the APMU.
Support design departments in adaptation of helicopter parts for the APMU.
You are an enrolled fulltime student (m/f/d) in the field of aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study.
You have basic knowledge in mechanical installation/integration of equipment or structural elements.
You have basic knowledge in the use of CAD software (ideally CATIA V5).
You have good knowledge of office programs (Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.).
You have a good command of English at an advanced level.
German is an advantage but not necessary.
