Are you about to complete your master’s degree or have recently finalized your Bachelor? Are you ready to embark on a journey that combines passion for wealth management, ambition, and excellence?

Our CFO Intern Programme is a 5-6-month journey designed to unleash your full potential. This unique opportunity will immerse you in Julius Baer’s global network, provide hands-on experience, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.

Join the CFO division and become part of the DCFO GPS, CIOO, Credit & Treasury and Performance & Efficiency Management team. During your journey, you will gain experience and insight into the integrated overall bank management with focus on balance sheet related activities, strategic risk-adjusted performance management and derivation of steering measures to empower sustainable profit growth by partnering with GPS, CIOO, Credit & Treasury as well as with all CFO departments and key teams from CRO, COO and Front. Therewith, you will be actively involved in daily business and projects, gaining first-hand experience and acquiring relevant knowledge and personal skills.

What to Work on:

• Reporting, reviewing, and analysing P&L and balance sheet development across GPS, CIOO, Credit & Treasury

• Enhancement of risk-return monitoring & steering capabilities for the balance sheet related business and the entire Group

• Supporting the further development of analytics and reporting capabilities within GPS, CIOO, Credit & Treasury to provide actionable insights and ensure forward-looking financial performance management

• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination and tracking of various initiatives

• Be part of one or more initiatives and support the project work, e.g. Capital and Liquidity Optimization initiatives, Treasury Benchmarking, Performance and Profitability Management

• Conventional Finance skills, e.g. and ability to understand JB’s financial and operational performance from review of financials

• Understand JB’s processes and products as well as the macro-economic impacts on the bank’s state of business and performance

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)

• Initial practical experience in the Financial Services industry

• Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth

• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning

• Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus

• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
