[What the role is]
The interns will support NAC’s Data and Research Unit in implementing data-related projects (e.g. data cleaning, developing data dictionaries, schemas, data transformations and flows) and data analysis (e.g. descriptive, visualisations, modelling).[What you will be working on]
Utilise a variety of tools (e.g. Excel, AWS Quicksight) and languages (e.g. SQL, Python) to extract, clean, transform, analyse, and model data.
Build dashboards and other relevant visualisations that will provide insights for our policies, programming and operations. This will involve clear documentation of the data sets you are working on and the solutions you develop.
Supporting the development and running of our new data warehouse and visualization platform – this work involves stakeholder engagements, knowledge management work and supporting users on the platform (e.g. developing guides, EDM, etc).
[What we are looking for]
Studying Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, and related fields/courses preferred
Some proficiency in using Python, SQL, Tableau/Quicksight and/or other related Data and AI tools
Able to commit to 3-5 working days per week for the internship period
