- Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and business stakeholders to understand business problems and how data can be leveraged to solve them.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and quantitative researchers to develop, enhance, and wrangle large-scale datasets for effective use in BI dashboards and automated workflows.
- Present project work to the Data & Analytics teams at the end of the internship.
- Gain exposure to financial products, trading systems, high-performance technical platforms, and business challenges in the financial services industry.
The ideal candidate has:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
- Creative problem-solving and course-correcting skills, high level of detail orientation, and self-driving intellectual curiosity.
- Strong communication skills.
You’ll really stand out with:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with data visualisation platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experience with cloud-based large-scale data/analysis platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery.
