[What the role is]

Intern, DAT

Through this hands-on experience, interns will gain practical insights into user experience research, UI design, and the application of design thinking methodology to transform government digital services. You will be part of a panicle digital transformation initiative that redesigns how Singapore's land management departments collaborate and serve citizens.

[What you will be working on]

Workshop Planning & Facilitation

  • Assist in planning and facilitating design thinking workshops with stakeholders of various backgrounds
  • Support documentation of workshop outcomes and synthesis of user insights

UX Research & Analysis

  • Conduct user interviews to understand current workflows and pain points
  • Observe and document existing processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and research findings presentations

UI Design & Prototyping

  • Design user interfaces for the Land360 system using Figma
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate on design solutions
  • Usability Testing
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions with end users
  • Analyse testing results and provide actionable design recommendations
  • Document user feedback and iterate designs based on findings

[What we are looking for]

  • Student pursuing studies in UX/UI design, Design or related fields
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Advanced skills in interface design and prototyping are essential
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and design thinking methodologies
  • Curious in nature and eager to dive into operational processes and challenges
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Positive mindset and willing to learn about complex organisational challenges
  • Previous internship or project work in UI/UX design
  • Experience with workshop facilitation or stakeholder engagement
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Responsible and proactive
  • Able to commit full time from June 2026 to September 2026 / July 2026 to October 2026 / July 2026 to December 2026 for at least 3 to 6 months.
