Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual to join The Workshop team as a Community Development Intern at Techplace II. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing a co-working space. 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist in developing sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones 

  • Understand the potential client’s requirements and recommend suitable workspaces and conduct viewings 

  • Create engaging content for our social media platforms to showcase our co-working space 

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive traffic to our various marketing platforms 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas for promotional activities and events 

  • Facilitate the on/off-boarding process for clients 

  • Assist in day-to-day operations and inquiries to ensure the smooth operations of the co-working space 

  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

Requirements 

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Marketing, Business, Media & Communications, Hospitality and Event Management, or any other related disciplines 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva 

  • Good interpersonal skills and approachable 

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills 

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment 

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and assist in creating a collaborative community 

  • Familiar with social media platforms and content creation tools
