Job Description Summary

The Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Summary of Position

The position is a rotational one the seeks to provide exposure to several commercial areas of the business. It would span various marketing & commercial areas, including new product development discovery & vetting, pipeline management, product launch and promotional planning, sales, and contracts & pricing area.

Responsibilities

Internship Structure

Cross-exposure rotation model rather than individual ownership.

Program Focus

Emphasis on exposure and learning. Intern would rotate through Sales, Pipeline, Marketing, and C&P. In the interest of time, the experience would prioritize understanding how each function works rather than deep project work per each team.

Rotation & Project Work

Approx. 2 – 3 weeks per team. Any “heavier” or more hands-on projects would likely sit with Marketing, while other teams would focus more on exposure:

Understanding our industry

Learning how new opportunities are found, vetted, and approved

Understanding the different ways a generic pharmaceutical company manages a pipeline

Learning how products are launched and promoted

Gaining insight into contracts and pricing for our sale of these products

Learning how we sell these products, both through the sales and national accounts viewpoints

Minimum Requirements

Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program related to (insert majors)

  • Experience with MS Office, etc.
  • Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, etc. 

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

Interact with other team members and cross functionally as needed
