As a Clinical College Intern, you will engage in a structured learning experience through which you gain hands-on experience from some of the best caregivers in the field. You will assist with various clinical and research-based tasks, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your technological and healthcare skills within a supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment. A caregiver in this position works day/evening rotation| 6:30am—3:30pm or 10:30am—7:30pm. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

  • Participate in departmental clinical or research projects 

  • Assist with indirect patient care as appropriate 

  • Provide suggestions or recommendations regarding department specific projects 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Current college enrollment 

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling/lifting items, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

  • Requires frequent standing and sitting.

  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. 

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
