Job Description:
Dentsu Sports International (DSI) is looking for an ambitious Business Development Intern who will provide business and administrative support to the Global Commercial Team (GCT), servicing sports properties and brand clients worldwide.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Development for North America, this position will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial sales strategy in North America, assisting on regional and cross-border sales opportunities and projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of activities and be part of a growing team with consistent opportunities for career development and learning.

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week), from June 1 through August 7, 2026 requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in dentsu’s NYC office.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting market research, tracking market news & trends, and identifying brand prospects.
Assist on pre-sales material creation, including but not limited to sales material compilation, presentation support, research on sales leads etc.
Support in scheduling and following up daily meetings, business activities, departments' operations, inter-departments relationships.
Complete tasks assigned by the DSI GCT and assist with other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates actively pursuing a college degree preferred, relevant experience will also be considered
Genuine interest in sports marketing, ideally partnerships/sponsorships
Proactive and responsible approach to work, with the ability to handle ad-hoc tasks calmly and flexibly.
Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint and basic design skills are a plus
Proficiency in office software and internet applications.
Exceptional communication, coordination, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to work independently and build strong relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Strong motor and high achiever.
Additional information
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
