About the Role

The APAC Brand Commercialization Intern will support brand operations and management across the region. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration with multiple lines of business within The Walt Disney Company, contributing to business plans that help licensees and partners unlock the commercial potential of Disney’s characters and content.

The role will be responsible for consolidating brand updates to support brand commercialization and business development, ensuring clear and timely internal updates.

By the end of the internship, the intern will gain a foundational understanding of brand commercialization, develop practical skills in project coordination and stakeholder communication, and learn how global and regional cross functional teams collaborate within a large organization.
 

Responsibilities:

Brand Operations & Management

  • Support the APAC Brand Commercialization team in managing and consolidating brand updates and regional initiatives
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Development, Creative, Category teams) to build reports tracking business performance
  • Consolidate and share updates for APAC DCP monthly franchise newsletters and monthly leadership reports
  • Key brand commercialization resources are updated timely to support business development and pitching

Showcase Project

  • Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, timelines to ensure effective business planning
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure project adheres to timeline and budget
  • Provide general project and administrative support, ensuring smooth day-to-day team operations
  • Organize post event learnings report to help inform best practice for future Showcases

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • A strong interest in brand management, consumer products and character intellectual property (IP)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn in collaborative team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Clear and confident communicator, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
