What You Will Do:
The Advisor Projects will be directly accountable for planning and implementing the following programs:
Major overhauls
Environmental Remediation
Meter Station Reactivation and Deactivations
Customer Owned Meter Stations and Tie-Ins
Crossing Assessments Program
Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, schedule, cost, and governance from initiation through closeout and operational handover, ensuring safe, timely, and on-budget execution.
Manage project cost and schedule controls, including budgets, forecasts, commitments, accruals, variance analysis, and support for annual capital planning.
Coordinate contractors and collaborators, leading all aspects of day-to-day interfaces, procurement activities, work orders, contractor performance, results, and invoice validation.
Ensure risk, safety, and regulatory compliance, maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans, enforcing safety requirements, and ensuring adherence to permits, codes, and company standards.
Provide clear communication, reporting, and documentation, including project status reporting, meeting facilitation, decision tracking, records management, lessons learned, and financial close-out.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or related construction or operational training and/or experience.
4+ years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. For those candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required (total of 7+ years).
At least 2 years in project management within operations, construction, or infrastructure environments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage defined project scopes.
Experience working with customers, contractors and cross‑functional teams understanding needs and developing effective solutions.
Solid understanding of project controls (cost, schedule, risk).
You will undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.
Working Conditions
Office environment with some field work required.
Scheduled travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities in Canada (up to 25%).
Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety, quality, and environmental issues that occur during active projects.
Salary:
Ranges from $89,000 – $129,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
Ranges from $92,000 – $133,000 CAD for Alberta locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
