At the Marston Green Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility, we we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
We are looking for Technicians to build, evaluate and test hydromechanical fuel systems across a wide variety of Marston Green products: Fuel Metering units and HMU units.
What you will do:
Carry out initial inspections of hydromechanical units across a wide variety of Marston Green products
Carry out a disassembly and evaluation of associated components
Carry out testing of the associated unit across various test rigs
Conduct an assembly of the associated unit in-line with CMM manuals
Inhibit and ensure the associated units meet the desired specification for the customer
Work as part of a team ensuring a collaborative working environment
Foster a culture of process improvement and a work ethic which enables success within Hydromechanical and Electronic Cells
From time to time you may be required by the Company to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.
Skills and Experience Required:
Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
Previous Aerospace Engineering experience desirable
Problem-solving and analytical skills for dealing with repairs
Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
The ability to cope with new demands and new problems to be solved.
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team or individually
Technical knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems and manufacturing processes is preferred
