What You Will Do:

  • Evaluate physical capabilities (injection, withdrawal, wheeling) of natural gas.

  • Prepare and publish updated customer postings related to storage facility outages.

  • Maximize storage revenue by effectively optimizing physical and commercial aspects of Enbridge storage fields. 

  • Prepare and submit required regulatory inventory data.

  • Provide input and analysis for expansion opportunities under Enbridge storage portfolio.

  • Analyze, review, and provide storage field capacities for park, loan and wheeling volumes to commercial services team.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • PE is preferred.

  • Four or more years of natural gas storage operations experience.

  • Functional understanding of pipeline facility construction and operations.

  • Strong independent work ethic and initiative.

  • Effective communication and relationship building skills. This includes the ability to influence and collaborate.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Periodic out of town travel with infrequent visits (10 – 15%) to operating locations.

  • On-call requirement to capture market opportunities and manage business issues (~ 1 weekend per month).

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

 

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. 

 

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
