The Interface Architecture Lead is responsible for governing interface integrity, configuration baselines, SysML model correctness, and change management across airborne, mission-system, autonomy, ground-segment, and simulation environments. This role ensures that every subsystem adheres to the authoritative Interface Control Document (ICD), Open Mission Systems (OMS) schemas, Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) services, Application Programming Interface (API) definitions, and message catalogs. The position requires strong analytical, software-fluent, and model-based engineering skills to build and maintain Cameo SysML models, schema repositories, automated conformance tools, configuration status accounting records, and release-control workflows. The Configuration and ICD Manager maintains the single source of truth for interfaces and product baselines, enabling predictable integration and delivering high-quality product artifacts for internal customers and external partners.
