Salary Range: $143913 - $197200 Per Year

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as a senior engineering advisor, reviewing progress and developing solutions for technical, schedule, and cost challenges throughout the program lifecycle.
  • You will develop and maintain system engineering and acquisition documents, ensuring technical rigor in all activities for the assigned program.
  • You will provide expert guidance on Strategic Systems Programs, maintaining expertise through continuous education and professional development.
  • You will assess technical maturity and readiness in line with Department of Defense guidelines and performance measurement plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • You will contribute technical input to program cost estimates, acquisition plans, risk management, and budget planning, managing financial expenditures to support the program.

Qualifications: In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional engineering experience coordinating engineering activities, providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and managing program performance.
