Job Summary: You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER SCIENTIST (General Engineer/Physicist/Operations Research Analyst/Computer Scientist) in the Test & Evaluation Management for Programs & Operations Division of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager for Test and Evaluation (APM) for an assigned program, responsible to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager (PM/DPM) in the overarching execution of all developmental and operational testing.
  • You will serve as a subject matter expert on all test and evaluation matters and represent the PM/DPM in meetings with DOTE, CJCS, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, OPNAV and Operational Test Forces.
  • You will chair Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Team meetings, be responsible for Test and Evaluation Master Plan configuration management and currency, planning, coordination and execution of Operational Test Readiness Reviews.
  • You will act on behalf of the PM/DPM as the Test and Evaluation liaison between all TE program stakeholders, decision and policy makers.
  • You will maintain the program office master test schedule and TE metrics and is responsible for integrating test issues across the Integrated Program Teams.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or (DP-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing full spectrum test team support, including financial management, test planning and provisioning, test execution and oversight 2) coordination of data analysis and test reporting to program managers and other sponsors 3) Providing Test & Evaluation technical advice to the program managers and on all matters concerning test planning and test execution 4) operating as a subject matter expert or Project/Program manager, responsible for program development and/or oversight of a major level programs relating to research, development, testing, evaluation, innovation, and reengineering.
