Major Duties:

  • You will lead and manage Weapon System engineering and product development activities in the area of Weapon System performance within (CPS) Program Office, which is leading the development of Navy's Hypersonic Weapon System.
  • You will provide systems engineering support for both problem investigation and performance evaluation activities pertaining to the CPS Weapon System.
  • You will lead and manage the development, accreditation, utilization, and sustainment of the CPS Weapon System model; and acquisition, utilization, and sustainment of simulation tools.
  • You will lead the development of the Modeling and Simulation (M and S) strategy, plans, and evaluation of the Weapon System performance
  • You will lead the development of the Modeling and Simulation (M and S) strategy, plans, and evaluation of the Weapon System performance

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying, developing, implementing, and/or making recommendations or solutions to risks/vulnerabilities of a weapon system in an assigned program area.
