Major Duties:

  • You will execute technical program management activities for all phases of the development and deployment life cycle for specified products within the Navy's reentry systems portfolio.
  • You will conduct both systems and program integration of the Navy's reentry systems portfolio with other relevant product lines and systems associated with the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) and its employment.
  • You will inform the requirements definition, planning factors, and budgetary planning necessary to execute and support the design, development, production, and test and evaluation of reentry systems product lines.
  • You will liaise, partner, and support various stakeholders in the formulation and execution of requirements, planning factors, and budgets to support design, development, production, and test and evaluation of the Navy's reentry systems portfolio.
  • You will take the initiative to independently highlight and resolve issues affecting their equities; direct and participate in reviews of progress and/or issues with Reentry Branch staff members and other stakeholders.
  • You will support the drafting and execution of the technical and programmatic scope of relevant contractual vehicles, work requests, task orders, and Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPR) to specify and execute necessary work.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing nuclear weapons surety and use control while managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for nuclear weapon systems.
