Intercompany Material Master Data Expert

We plan to internalize support for Intercompany material creation for companies on Transform 360.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Implementation of data governance policies and procedures to maintain high-quality master data standards.

• Understanding requests for data maintenance from the requestors – what they want to extend and why

• Ensuring collection and alignment of master data from technology centers and accurate integration of data sources.

• Monitoring data management processes and performing regular data quality checks to identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors.

• Facilitating and managing the master data lifecycle, including creation, updates, deletion, and archiving of data records.

• Serving as a point of contact for intercompany master data-related queries and issues of the Divisions, providing support and guidance to stakeholders.

• Training and guiding users on best practices for data entry, maintenance, and usage to ensure data quality is maintained.

• Developing and maintaining documentation related to master data management processes and standards.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Technical capabilities

• Understands and becomes and expert on usage of MDG for material data creation, material master data fields in S4
• Understanding of end to end processes of MM (S2P)/ SD (L2C)/ PP (P2P) and how it is impacted from material master
• Uses data analytics tools to support data quality – xls, SQL, business intelligence tools and other

Requirements

• Ideally a university degree
• GEA internal candidates preferred
• Inquisitive personality, who enjoys diligent work with focus on detail
• Good and proactive communicator
• Team player
• English proficiency in writing and speaking
