Major Duties:

  • You will support advanced current maritime intelligence issue analysis and multi-party logistics for non-HUMINT bilateral programs in Norway.
  • You will serve as a line of communication between the host country partner and the U.S. Navy/US Intelligence Community on maritime intelligence issues.
  • You will facilitate solutions to problems and issues in collection and exchanges of intelligence that arise between the bilateral partners.
  • You will circulate relevant products to the host country and throughout the U.S. community, ensuring widest dissemination.
  • You will establish regular meetings and interactions within the partner country and also via secure video teleconferencing between the partner country and the United States.
  • You will ensure that the host country has a clear understanding of U.S. logistics requirements and schedules.
  • You will ensure effective U.S. logistic and materiel handling through direct and independent engagement (frequently in host language) with host logistics personnel.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-13) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: Experience engaging, collaborating with, and influencing international partners. Ability to effectively communicate programmatic, operational, and technical information with stakeholders of various disciplines and levels. Ability to plan, organize, and interact effectively with senior international partner analysts and management to propose, submit, accept, and/or implement recommendations, where proposals may involve substantial resources or risk, and require extensive changes to established concepts and procedures. Experience working with partner Department of War and Intelligence Community agencies. Experience in leading analytical or technical teams, projects, working groups, or communities of interest. Ability to form cohesive teams, understand diverse viewpoints, and conflicting organizational goals, weigh these complications in light of objectives, and promote cooperation and consensus.
