Salary Range: $142488 - $185234 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a GG-0132-14 Intelligence Specialist at the NIMITZ OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE CENTER in Suitland, MD, where you will provide technical expertise on highly complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and products associated with various regional/geographic locations.

Major Duties:

  • You will analyze, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in your assigned area(s).
  • You will integrate senior knowledge of assigned intelligence area(s) and interpret applicable Intelligence Community policies to appropriately adapt guidelines to ensure fused knowledge is presented to a broad customer set.
  • You will identify critical intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, provide new methodologies and techniques to eliminate gaps, and evaluate intelligence collected in response to collection requirements.
  • You will review intelligence products prepared by the Intelligence Community, other U.S. government agencies, or other elements of assigned activity to make changes based on extensive judgment and experience.
  • You will identify critical intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, provide new methodologies and techniques to eliminate gaps, and evaluate intelligence collected in response to collection requirements.
  • You will work and collaborate with peers and senior leadership across the Intelligence Community to discuss policy and unusual circumstances that impact the global intelligence mission and seek collaborative support for emerging issues.
  • You will maintain liaison with high level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies and allied countries to provide or obtain information on kinetic and non-kinetic warfare related issues.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-13) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Oversee the production of intelligence assessments and products which represent the organization's position. 2. Make authoritative analytic intelligence assessments on activity within assigned analytic intelligence portfolio. 3. Mentor analytical teams to produce analysis that meets Intelligence Community analytic tradecraft standards. 4. Represent the organization and maintain liaison with high level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies.
