Job Summary: You will serve as an all-source intelligence analyst for the Intelligence Directorate of COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing the daily analysis of all-source intelligence on a range of geopolitical and military issues, not only within the assigned area of responsibility, but also within a wide area of interest; 2) Identifying intelligence gaps, specifying collection requirements to fill gaps, and evaluating intelligence collected in response to those requirement; 3) Developing analytical processes and methodologies to draw specific conclusions in support of the command - including reviewing and updating priority intelligence requirements (PIRs) and submitting source directed requirements/HUMINT collection requirements (SDRs/HCRs) - to ensure collection efforts remain relevant and updated; 4) Adhering to the ODNI Analytic Standards and tradecraft in accordance with Intelligence Community; 5) Representing the Intelligence Director at executive-level briefings, conferences and seminars in support of operations and engagements in theater, and maintaining professional contacts and networks in U.S. intelligence agencies, combatant commands, operational forces, and partner nations to analyze trends, collaborate and exchange approved information; and, 6) Providing intelligence support to operation planning teams (OPTs), working groups, and other directorates as required.
