The Opportunity:
As an Intelligence Planner supporting a Combatant Command (CCMD), you will integrate intelligence equities into strategic- and operational-level plans, orders, and decision support products across the Joint Planning Process (JPP). You will contribute to campaign and contingency planning, crisis action and time-sensitive planning, exercises, and assessments. Working within an intelligence planning team, you will conduct intelligence operations feasibility assessments throughout plan development. You will identify, document, and help mitigate intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls and ensure intelligence products and services are aligned to commander priorities.
You will develop and integrate JPP intelligence inputs and outputs, including Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE), center of gravity analysis, adversary course of action analysis, and Annex B Intelligence development with supporting appendices and tabs. You will help synchronize intelligence support across collection, analysis, production, dissemination, and targeting functions to deliver the right information at the right time to operational planners and senior decision-makers. In addition, you will leverage DoD-approved and authorized platforms, including emerging AI or ML and data science capabilities, to enhance planning speed, rigor, traceability, and decision advantage.
