Job Summary: The incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist in the Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat Directorate. Working closely with U.S. intelligence, security, and law enforcement partners, the incumbent will conduct all-source analysis to identify, assess, and neutralize foreign intelligence and cyber threats targeting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), the Trusted Workforce, critical technologies, supply chains, and personnel.

Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, and will typically be demonstrated by working at, or immediately below the level of the job being advertised, for a year or more. The previous work experience must clearly demonstrate the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Experience with a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and techniques associated with intelligence, CI, law enforcement, threats to critical technologies and DoD programs, and related disciplines. This includes knowledge of terminology, methodology, and intelligence gathering techniques, and research and structured analytical techniques as applied to complex assignments in CI analysis. 2. Communicating complex ideas and analyses orally and in writing to inform decision making and courses of action from analytic activities. 3. Experience working with the Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities including missions, functions, and authorities. 4. Experience with research tools on JWICS, SIPRNET, and NIPRNET to conduct classified and open source research. 5. Experience using the Intelligence Field in the development of new methods, approaches, and procedures.
