Intelligence Collection Manager - Expert

SMX is seeking an Intelligence Collection Manager Expert to deliver advanced, hands-on support in the management and integration of intelligence collection for high-priority operations. In this key role, you will develop and synchronize multi-INT requirements, optimize collection posture, and enable timely, actionable intelligence for mission success.

This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and validate all-source intelligence collection requirements in support of dynamic defense operations
  • Coordinate collection efforts among analysts, operators, and platform managers to resolve priority gaps and ensure mission synchronization
  • Conduct sophisticated collection gap analyses and propose targeted solutions
  • Prepare detailed collection plans, requirements packages, and assessments for management and mission teams
  • Track requirements and measure collection effectiveness using established collection management platforms and databases
  • Mentor and train junior personnel; share expertise and contribute to team best practices
  • Ensure implementation of established collection management procedures and legal/policy compliance
  • Support briefings and reporting to leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Security Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in intelligence collection management with a defense, intelligence community, or federal organization
  • Advanced knowledge of the intelligence cycle, collection management processes, targeting methodologies, and analytic tools
  • Hands-on experience with collection management systems such as PRISM, HOTR, DCGS, or similar tools
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Valid US passport
  • Must be willing and able to deploy as needed

The proposed salary for this position is:
$85,000$125,000 USD
