The Director manages assigned service area, efficiently carries out top-down directives as well as proactively identifying and responding to local issues. This position engages employees and stakeholders to ensure that advocacy for all individuals served is the focus at all levels while being responsible for all administrative and managerial aspects of service and assures that quality services are provided consistently with the mission, vision, and values of the organization and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of agency goals and objectives
Engage with County and/or State partners, fostering positive relationships, collaborating on local policy and programmatic developments, and ensuring performance expectations are met
Prepare program reports and statistical data
Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) plans and allocates resources accordingly to maintain or improve performance
Assist with the assessment of referrals to evaluate appropriateness of placements
Collaborate with the clinical team regarding the treatment process, including assessment, development of Individual Support Plans, and monthly reports
Provide direction to employees to teach people the necessary skills that support increased independence and reduced reliance on formal services
Finalize Incident Management Reports and assigns staff to carry out corrective action based on investigation findings
Maintain an effective, responsible, and productive working relationship with supervisor, peers, and subordinates
Facilitate timely and effective communication of relevant information across the division and across services.
Maintain active visibility and engagement within the division (e.g., visit programs and attends team meetings regularly)
Engage with and takes an active interest in individuals supported, employees, and the division
Participate in leadership and management meetings, including adherence to agenda, follow-through of action items, and empowering participants
Ensure fiscal responsibility across programs and homes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive experience in human services or a related field
Five years of management experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to read, understand, and apply written information
Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearances
Valid driver’s and reliable daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
