The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Manager to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
This manager will lead integrated planning and scheduling activities for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) test programs within Boeing Test and Evaluation. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring synchronization across engineering, test, supply, and logistics organizations, driving schedule risk management, and facilitating cross-functional decision making to meet mission objectives.
We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage tasks with accuracy and collaborate clearly and professionally with team members at all levels
Position Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting schedule artifacts
Identify, analyze, and mitigate schedule risks; perform critical path analysis and recommend recovery strategies
Prepare and present schedule status, trends, and variance analyses for leadership, customers, and Program Management
Coordinate dependencies across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of schedule impacts
Establish and enforce schedule management processes, tools, and best practices (e.g., Earned Value Management integration where applicable)
Drive continuous improvement of IP&S processes and mentor junior schedule/planning resources
Support contract reviews, baseline events, and test readiness reviews with clear schedule and resource alignment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
8+ years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management or related experience
5+ years of experience producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level
5+ years of experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management
5+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership
5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing data
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Strong proficiency with schedule tools and schedule analysis techniques
5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
