The person in this role will assist to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions through data, market research and analytics. These analytics will include a combination of primary market research, key performance tracking, and customer data mining, among others, to fully understand, generate insights, and contribute to strategy. The position requires a deep understanding of data analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct data-driven analyses to uncover trends, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend strategic business actions including ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and support decision-making across different business functions.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, and operational performance. Create compelling, easy-to-understand data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to provide real-time insights.
- Partner with key stakeholders to support the execution of market research and data analytic plans and manage the research process. Apply various types of primary market research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to answer key business questions.
Partner with different teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations) to integrate data across various systems and develop holistic views of business performance.
Collaborate with data science and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, reliability, and accessibility.
PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Analytical & Quantitative Skills:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and trend analysis.
- Comfort with large datasets and experience using tools like Excel, SQL, R, or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Understand quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
- Experience with advanced analytics or machine learning techniques is a plus.
Business Intelligence Tools:
- Expertise in using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) to create visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
- Ability to design interactive and insightful dashboards that communicate complex data effectively.
Data Warehousing & Databases:
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server) and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data management and data governance practices.
Communication Skills:
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations.
- Ability to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
- Fluent or Advanced English (written and spoken).
Project Management & Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate insights.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver business insights that drive performance improvement or strategic decisions.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively to tackle business challenges.
- Ability to analyze situations, make recommendations, and take initiative to implement improvements.
Work Experience:
- +3 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field, such as management consulting, with a demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and present insights to stakeholders
- Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals experience highly preferred.
