What You’ll Do as an Intake Specialist

In this role, you will support our mission by ensuring a smooth and timely intake process for patients entering our care. Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, interpreting, and managing patient referrals to convert them into admissions

  • Maintaining and working a pending list to improve referral-to-admission conversion rates

  • Responding promptly and professionally to internal and external customer needs

  • Ensuring effective communication and organized systems to support continuity of care

  • Entering referral information accurately into company database systems in compliance with administrative policies

  • Attending on-site meetings with branches or referral sources when requested

What You Need

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience and familiarity with medical terminology

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accurate data entry skills

  • Strong customer service and communication abilities

  • Associate degree in healthcare field preferred

You will report directly to the Intake Manager.
