In this role, you will support our mission by ensuring a smooth and timely intake process for patients entering our care. Responsibilities include:
Receiving, interpreting, and managing patient referrals to convert them into admissions
Maintaining and working a pending list to improve referral-to-admission conversion rates
Responding promptly and professionally to internal and external customer needs
Ensuring effective communication and organized systems to support continuity of care
Entering referral information accurately into company database systems in compliance with administrative policies
Attending on-site meetings with branches or referral sources when requested
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience and familiarity with medical terminology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accurate data entry skills
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Associate degree in healthcare field preferred
You will report directly to the Intake Manager.
