The Advanced intake operator will also work in all RAW areas of the plant operating our pasteurizers, milk uf, milk separator and completing CIP on all Raw equipment daily and has been trained as a PCQI along with being a certified pasteurizer operator in accordance with DATCP.

We are actively recruiting an Intake Operator on the night shift to join our team in Weyauwega, WI. The Intake Operator position is responsible for receiving and shipping of liquid ingredients and completing all pre-screening testing on incoming product.

What this role is about:

The Advanced intake operator will also work in all RAW areas of the plant operating our pasteurizers, milk uf, milk separator and completing CIP on all Raw equipment daily and has been trained as a PCQI along with being a certified pasteurizer operator in accordance with DATCP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Intake Bay Area 

 Receive and CIP milk tankers. 

 Complete antibiotic testing on incoming milk. 

 Effectively balance receiving silos. 

 Log incoming loads in Mobile Manifest and the milk intake application. 

 Complete product loadouts for Cream, Milk, RO Skim Milk, and Whey. 

 Complete necessary documentation such as BOLs. 

 Complete CIP on product lines daily. 

Silo Room 

 Complete Silo CIP. 

 Complete filter changes. 

 Manage silo schedules. 

Pasteurizer Room 

 Complete start up and shutdown CIP of the Milk RO. 

 Complete start up ad shutdown CIP of the RO Milk Pasteurizer. 

 Complete start up and shutdown CIP of the Sweet Cream Pasteurizer. 

 Complete start up and shutdown CIP of the Milk Separator. 

 Perform shift monitoring checks on all equipment in RO skim room. 

Ensure correct equipment is started based off the needs for the production schedule for the standardization method being used. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities: 

 Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule for each area. 

 Assist in training new employees as directed by Supervisor. 

 Attend meetings as directed. 

 Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. 

Safety Protocol 

 Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. 

 Correct or report any observed safety hazards. 

 Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications: 

Education Required: 

 High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Experience Required: 

 Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing/intake area preferred. 

Certification/Licensure Required: 

 Charm Reader Certification required (in-house training provided). 

 Forklift trained required (in-house training provided). 

 Sampler License required (in-house training provided. 

 Pasteurizer Certification required. (can acquire in house)  

Skills Required: 

Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.); interview to 

gather information; advise others on alternatives/options; coach and counsel others; read, understand and explain technical 

data. 

 Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently. 

 Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work. 

Follow one- or two-step verbal instructions; read and follow written instructions; perform routine and repetitive tasks and carry 

out detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions. 

Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of 

accomplishment. 

 Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). 

 Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. 

 Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP). 

 Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
