Job Description Summary

The Incident & Insurance Review Analyst provides critical support to the Renter’s Insurance and Property Insurance & Incident Operations teams by monitoring program data, identifying potential risks, and flagging any anomalies or red flags for escalation to leadership. This role plays a key part in maintaining data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple programs.

The Analyst supports program managers through proactive reporting, dashboard maintenance, trend monitoring, and documentation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Job Description

Essential Job Duties:


• Monitor key data sets across renter’s insurance and incident reporting programs to identify trends, anomalies, or potential red flags requiring further review.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Smartsheet dashboards, trackers, and reports to support ongoing program oversight and compliance.
• Conduct routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program requirements.
• Escalate potential risks, discrepancies, or irregular patterns to program managers and relevant stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Document and summarize findings, meeting notes, and action items to support efficient follow-up and decision-making.
• Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Assist in KPI tracking and reporting to monitor performance and compliance metrics for insurance and incident programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather, validate, and organize data for strategic reporting and analysis.
• Help identify process improvement opportunities based on recurring issues or data patterns.
• Ensure key documents, records, and reporting materials are organized and easily accessible for audits, leadership review, or compliance needs.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reporting and documentation.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clearly presenting findings and recommendations.
Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and flag issues proactively.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with data tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel), and comfort with automation or workflow tools.
Collaboration: Ability to work closely with program managers and other team members to support shared goals.

Important Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or a related field.

Important Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, risk operations, insurance administration, or a related field.
• Experience working with tracking tools, data visualization platforms, or reporting dashboards.
• Background in compliance, risk, or insurance-related environments preferred.
• Strong experience maintaining data accuracy and supporting operational processes.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position may require occasional travel to meet with team members, vendors, or attend training sessions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 55,250.00 - $65,000.00
